Nel-Spot Marking Gun Operating Instructions
For optimum performance, it is strongly recommended that your Nel-Spot Marking Gun be thoroughly cleaned and oiled daily. Spray Nel-Spot Gun Cleaner through your gun until it comes out clean, then lubricate by oiling the A-26-A Spring with WD40 oil, letting the oil seep into the cylinder. (The oil keeps the Cup Leathers in good working condition.) Also oil the HW-417 trigger link and the HW-3 trigger. Do Not use diesel fuel. DO NOT leave a dirty gun out overnight or longer, or paint will dry on the gun, making it much more difficult to use and clean. DO NOT leave the gun to soak in the cleaner for more than a few hours - this will cause the parts to corrode.
The Nelson Paint Company can clean, rebuild, or replace worn or missing parts for your Nel-Spot Marking Guns. Please contact us for pricing at 1-800-236-9278.
The Nel-Spot Marking Gun comes stock with a reversible nozzle (with a .021" opening) for marking spots or bands. An optional, brass-finished nozzle for larger marks (with a .029" opening) is also available.
